Beeswax*

Beeswax is purified wax, mainly produced by female bees in the construction of their honeycomb. As a natural moisturizer with healing and soothing properties, beeswax does wonders for the lips. In addition, beeswax creates a protective layer over the lips, not only locking in moisture but protecting them from the harsh environment – an outdoorsman’s best friend!

Caffeine

A popular stimulant found in many beverages, caffeine also has beneficial effects when used topically. As a vasoconstrictor, caffeine is effective in reducing the look of puffy eyes and overall inflammation. It also stimulates circulation, visibly improving overall skin complexion. Its soothing and antioxidant properties also work to protect skin from free radical damage.

Calcium Gluconate

Calcium gluconate promotes healthy bone structure within the body and mouth. While we can all benefit from the fortification of our bones, some individuals suffering from illnesses in which dry mouth is a side effect can greatly benefit from the fortifying of their bones.

Calcium Stearate

Similar to calcium gluconate in our dry mouth sprays, calcium stearate also promotes healthy bone structure. While we can all benefit from the fortification of our bones, some individuals suffering from illnesses in which dry mouth is a side effect can greatly benefit from the fortifying of their bones.

Calendula Extract

Extract of the calendula flowers. Acts as a skin conditioner and fragrance ingredient.

Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract

This botanical extract is derived from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant. This plant is responsible for producing many strains of tea, including Green Tea. Known for its medicinal effects, there are also proven benefits from applying Green Tea extract topically. It’s abundant in antioxidant rich polyphenols which neutralize free radicals and protect against harmful UV damage. Another antioxidant ECGC has regenerative properties when applied on the skin. Vitamin B2 present can also slow the aging process and help maintain healthy collagen levels within skin.

Camphor 0.1%

A waxy, scented substance derived from the wood of a camphor tree, an evergreen tree native to Asia. Acts as a denaturant and external analgesic.

Caprylyl Glycol

Caprylyl Glycol is known for its antimicrobial and moisturizing properties and is often used in addition to other preservative agents to increase their efficacy.

Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Extract

Gotu Kola acts as a natural healer due to its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, this herb may also increase the blood supply where applied, helping raise the antioxidant level, aiding in promoting the growth of new skin to gently close any breaks in the dermis.

Cetearyl Glucoside

An emulsifier that is known for its hydrating properties and is formed by the condensation of cetearyl alcohol with glucose.

Cetyl Alcohol

A hydrating fatty alcohol that acts as an emollient and thickening agent. It is used in our Shave Cream to give the final product a smooth texture that glides easily over skin.

Certified Organic Witch Hazel Ext Blend

Our proprietary witch hazel extract blend is created with the following ingredients: (Hamamelis Virginiana Extract (Witch Hazel*) – Our witch hazel is extracted from the leaves, bark, twigs, and stems of the witch hazel shrub through cold water extraction. Unlike most other witch hazel products, the witch hazel extract in our formula is not distilled, leaving 195% more beneficial tannins compared to our competitors on the shelves. Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Filet of Aloe Vera*)) – Filet of aloe vera is a colorless gel extracted from within the leaves of the aloe vera plant. Filet of aloe vera is very hydrating, healing, and increases absorption of nutrients in the skin, making it a very effective product to use prior to serums like Vitamin C.

Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract

Extract of the chamomile (Chamomilla Recutita) flowers. In addition to being a fantastic anti-inflammatory ingredient, chamomile extract also has anti-fungal, antibacterial, and antiseptic properties, helping to keep skin clean and acne-free.

Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract

Derived from the Chamomile flower, this extract contains rich anti-inflammatories of Bisabolol and Azulene. Bisabolol is soothing and great for sensitive skin, helping to heal inflamed skin, and reduce redness and irritation. Azulene also has healing properties, working in a similar way to Bisabolol to soothe inflammation and irritation. Thanks to these strong anti inflammatory agents, Chamomile extract is suitable for even those with sensitive skin or acne-prone skin.

Chlorophyllin Copper Complex

A coloring agent derived from chlorophyll. This ingredient is what gives our Calming Premium Mist it’s natural dye.

Citric Acid

Citric acid is included within our formula in a small amount to adjust the pH of our products to prevent them from being too alkaline. The pH level of our witch hazel products is 5-5.5, which is the optimal pH level of human skin. This pH level is fairly acidic (thanks to citric acid), helping to halt the growth of acne-causing bacteria and fungi.

Citric Acid

Citric acid is included within our dry mouth products for a different reason than in our witch hazel products. In this case, citric acid is used due to its tartness, promoting saliva production in the mouth.

Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Fruit Extract

Extract from the Citrullus Lanatus plant, or as we commonly know as Watermelon. Not only is this a delicious fruit to consume, but it boasts a multitude of skin healthy benefits. High in antioxidants and Vitamin C and B, watermelon extract is able to neutralize free radicals that come into contact with skin due to the lycopene present within Watermelon. These antioxidants slow down the process of aging at the cellular level as well as protecting skin from oxidative stress. Watermelon extract is also beneficial for its emollient and hydrating properties.

Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Extract

Orange peel extract is derived from the peel of an orange. This extract acts as a natural astringent, bolstering the natural astringent effects already present from our witch hazel. Being derived from a fruit rich in Vitamin C, orange peel extract also contains antioxidant.

Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract

Grapefruit Seed Extract contains polyphenols that protect from free radicals and is also a rich source of Vitamin C. It’s used as a mild preservative in skin care products.

Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil

A natural source of lemon fragrance.

Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract

The natural essential oil from the peel of Grapefruit known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties.

Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Peel Extract

Extract from the peel of a Grapefruit. The peel contains essential oils filled with limonene which has anti inflammatory benefits. Rich in flavanoids and other antioxidants that fight oxidative stress.

Clove Oil

Oil that is steam-distilled from the dried flower buds of clove. Acts as a denaturant and fragrance ingredient.

A natural surfactant and gentle cleansing agent derived from coconut oil and fruit sugar. It helps create an exceptional foam in our Shave Cream.

Also known as copra oil, it is the oil extracted from the meat of the Cocos Nucifera. Abundant in fatty acids and antioxidant properties, its high saturated fat content is used for its emollient properties on skin.

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract

Extract from the Coconut fruit. It is a humectant that helps draw moisture to the skin and it is rich in amino acids and nutrients that provide antibacterial and anti inflammatory effects, making it useful for people who suffer from blemishes and scarring.

Cucumis Melo (Melon) Fruit Extract

Extract from the Cucumis Melo L. or more commonly referred to as Honeydew Melon. Abundant in Vitamins A and C, it also contains flavonoids that absorb UV light, delay skin aging and protect skin from other environmental stressors.

Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract

Cucumber fruit extract is an aqueous solution derived from the distillate of fruit of the cucumber. Cucumber contains the same hydrating properties as aloe vera, and the same moisture-barrier-producing properties of glycerin, making this choice great for those with dehydrated skin. In addition, as a natural astringent – think cucumber slices over dark eye circles – cucumber extract works in tandem with witch hazel to tighten pores and reduce redness.

Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Seed Extract

Extract derived from Cucumber and widely used in the cosmetics industry for its antioxidant, anti inflammatory, and emollient properties. Cucumber extract is commonly used as it is gentle on sensitive skin and adds fragrance to cosmetics without causing irritation. You can find caffeic acid and Vitamin C within Cucumis Sativus Extract which help to reduce puffiness and inflammation of the skin.

Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba (Guar) Gum

Native to India, Guar Gum is derived from the seeds of the Guar bean and acts as a thickening agent in liquid solutions.

Cymbopogon Citratus Extract

From the extract of the plant Lemongrass, this extract is known for its antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It also acts as a natural deodorizer in our Spray Deodorants.

Cymbopogon Schoenanthus (Lemongrass) Extract

Lemongrass extract is derived from the lemongrass, and has many uses within our formula. First and foremost, it acts as a natural astringent, and when paired with the natural astringent properties of witch hazel, helps to control oil production. In addition, lemongrass is an antioxidant and an antimicrobial and fragrance ingredient, too.

Decyl Glucoside

A gentle surfactant that is made from coconut oil and glucose. Decyl Glucoside is very mild which makes it perfect for those with sensitive skin and it retains moisture well.

Deoplex (Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate)

A water soluble liquid derived from yeast, it is often used to neutralize odor caused by bacteria.

Ethylhexylglycerin

A natural preservative derived from glycerin often used as a safe alternative to parabens.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil*

EVOO is an oil derived from mechanically pressed olives. No chemicals are used to extract the oil. This oil is not only highly moisturizing, but the linoleic acid present within the oil locks moisture into the skin, keeping this moisture from evaporating.

A polyhydroxy acid that can be commonly found in serums and creams. Their main purpose is to exfoliate dead skin cells on the surface, while gently hydrating skin at the same time.

More commonly known as sunflower seed oil, helianthus annuus is a moisturizing antioxidant extract derived from sunflower seeds. Sunflower seed oil contains essential fatty acids, which makes it a fantastic moisturizer, especially in tandem with the aloe vera in the formula as well. In addition, as an antioxidant, sunflower seed oil fights off free radicals from the environment, promoting healthy skin.

A rich source of nutrients, Potato Powder is packed with Vitamin C, B1, B3 and B6. Punica Granatum Fruit Extract is the scientific name for Pomegranate Extract. A rich source of antioxidants makes Pomegranate extract a popular choice of ingredient in skincare products. Ellagic acid, a type of polyphenol is directly responsible for aiding in skin cell regeneration, resulting in glowing, plump skin. Rosa Centifolia (Rose) Flower Water

Fragrance derived from the Rose Petal. It’s antimicrobial properties make it useful in treating skin conditions such as eczema and acne.

Rosehip is an accessory fruit of the rose plant. It is a natural source of Vitamin C, which assists in preventing and treating colds, flu, and vitamin C deficiencies.

Rosehip Oil

An emollient that is extracted from the seeds of the Rosa moschata or Rosa rubiginosa, native to Chile. Unlike other oils, Rosehip oil is easily absorbed into skin and leaves no greasy residue. Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil*

An effective antioxidant that helps inhibit growth of bacteria in water based products.

Rubus Fruticosus (Blackberry) Leaf Extract

Blackberry leaf extract is derived from the leaves of the blackberry plant. Similar to the blackberry plant’s popular fruit, the leaf and its extract contains superior antioxidant properties, neutralizing free radicals in the air. In addition, the extract is known to slow the breakdown of collagen beneath the skin, fighting signs of aging.

Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract

SD Alcohol (Natural Grain) 10%

SD, or specifically denatured ethyl alcohol acts as an astringent within our formula, in addition to the natural astringent properties of witch hazel itself. The alcohol is denatured for the purpose of rendering it undrinkable. By nature, alcohol is also a preservative, bringing about additional antimicrobial and antibacterial properties into the formula. 190 proof ethanol.

Sempervivum Tectorum Extract

A plant derived cosmetic ingredient used to condition the skin. Found in common succulent plants, this extract is used for its hydrating properties on skin.

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil*

A liquid wax derived from the seeds of the Simmondsia Chinensis, a shrub native to Southern Arizona. It absorbs into the skin and is extremely moisturizing.

Sodium Bicarbonate

More commonly known as baking soda, it is used as a deodorant agent in our Spray Deodorants and helps inhibit the growth of bacteria, the source of unwelcome odor.

Sodium Citrate

Sodium citrate acts as a pH adjuster by balancing the acidity of a product, bringing it closer to the desired pH level of skin, between 5-5.5. In addition, sodium citrate allows the soap to create a nice lather, while also cutting down soap scum buildup in the bath or shower.

Sodium Cocoate

Our sodium cocoate is a combination of organic coconut oil & sodium hydroxide. Similar to sodium palmate, these two ingredients, a fatty acid (coconut oil) and alkali (sodium hydroxide) react to create soap in a process called saponification. None remains after the process of saponification.

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate

A mild surfactant and emulsifying agent derived from coconut oil that works to produce a rich, hydrating lather in our Shave Cream.

Sodium Hyaluronate

Better known as Hyaluronic Acid, this popular acid works as a humectant, which retains the moisture within the skin. Hyaluronic Acid is naturally produced within our joints and skin cells, but with age, the levels of HA in our body declines. Sodium Hyaluronate is a great anti aging ingredient for this reason, as it can make up for lost moisture within the skin to keep it looking pulp and lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. While it has exceptional benefits for mature skin, Sodium Hyaluronate is suitable for all skin types, especially those with dry or dehydrated skin. Because it enhances moisture absorption, skin is left feeling smooth, plump and hydrated.

Spirulina Extract (Spirulina Platensis Extract and Trehalose)

A well known superfood, Spirulina Extract also boasts anti-aging and antioxidant benefits for the skin. An extract from the blue-green algae, this aquatic plant is rich in amino acids and protein, making it a popular ingredient in skincare use for skin cell repair and regeneration. Spirulina Extract promotes youthful looking skin through the beta-carotene found in the algae that protects skin from free radical damage. This ingredient is also responsible for the natural coloring in our Antioxidant Premium Mist.

Sunflower Oil*

Sunflower oil is a moisturizing antioxidant extract derived from sunflower seeds. This oil contains essential fatty acids, which allows it to be extremely moisturizing. In addition, as an antioxidant, sunflower seed oil fights off free radicals from the environment, promoting healthy skin – which is vital for the thin skin of the lips.

Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract

A well known superfood, this tropical plant is rich in antioxidants as well as being the ingredient in which chocolate is made from. Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Extract
