We Love Our Charity Partners!

“We can’t thank you enough for your thoughtful and generous donation! We’re so excited to use these medicated witch hazel pads in our summer care kits. Donations like these really help us increase our impact, so from all of us, thank you!!” – Restore Global

We believe that each and every one of us can make an enormous impact on the world by making small changes to the way we approach our daily decisions around the items we use and the purchases we make.

We believe people and our planet are just as important as profits. As a company, we try to make an impact by pursuing this triple bottom line through the charities and organizations we choose to partner with, who also support these values.

That’s why we at Thayers are proud to support these amazing charities and nonprofit organizations:

EWG: The Environmental Working Group is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to protecting human health and the environment. With a mission to empower people to live healthier lives in a healthier environment through breakthrough research and education, they drive consumer choice and civic action through their reports, online databases, mobile apps and communications campaigns that educate consumers to make safer and more informed decisions about the products they buy and the companies they support. We love that their Skin Deep Cosmetic Database allows you to search over 73,000 products for hazardous ingredients. In response to consumer pressure, EWG’s work has prompted companies to give up potentially dangerous chemical ingredients in their products and improve their practices. Their mission aligns with ours, which is a long-standing commitment to creating pure, effective and free of chemical-concerned products of the highest natural quality, which has built us a loyal consumer base. We advocate and bring awareness about EWG across all of our customer touch points – educating and empowering them on EWG’s mission to make better choices for the planet and for themselves. We also help raise money to support EWG through our social media campaigns.

Additionally, we recently donated excess Medicated Skin Irritation Relief and Medicated Skin Irritation Relief Pads to Christian Aid Ministries and Restore Global to assist with their medical and care kits for people in places in need:

Christian Aid Ministries: Christian Aid Ministries is a non-profit whose generous supporters and volunteers make it possible to distribute food, clothing, medicines, and seeds, reach out to people in material poverty, clean up and rebuild for survivors of natural disasters, help victims of war, famine, and natural disasters around the world, and operate medical clinics in Haiti and Nicaragua, to name a few. They primarily distribute donated goods abroad. The Medicated Skin Irritation Relief and Medicated Skin Irritation Relief Pads we donated will be used in their Romania medical kits, and we are so grateful to those who made it possible for the people in need to receive them. Romania has one of the highest poverty rates in the EU, and many struggle to afford housing and food. Those in need do not have access to personal-care products like soap, toothpaste, and deodorant. Those items are a luxury and a privilege rather than part of everyday life. Fortunately, Christian Aid Ministries makes it possible to provide so called “luxury items,” including our Medicated Skin Irritation products to those in needs.

Restore Global: Restore Global is a registered nonprofit that serves other nonprofit partners to reduce their operating costs and provides supporting services allowing their partners to focus staff and resources on their core programs. The Medicated Skin Irritation Relief Pads we donated will be used in care packages provided to the homeless and homeless veteran programs. The homelessness problem is brutal to witness, from poor living conditions to in times of inclement weather. By teaming with Restore Global, they can help extend the reach beyond local efforts and make sure our donated goods will be most effectively used.
