Here is what you will need…
1/4 cup dried roses
3 tsp aloe
3/4 cup Thayer’s Alcohol-Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner
20-30 cotton face pads
1 jar with lid
essential oils (optional)
- Combine 3/4 cup of Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner with 1/4 cup of dried roses. Let the elixir sit for at least 2 hours. The longer you leave the dried petals in the toner, the more infused your final product will be. You can let them soak for as long as a week for a stronger scent.
- Strain the rose petals when you are ready to make the pads. The witch hazel will turn a pretty pink color.
- Add 3 tsp of aloe to the elixir and stir together. (Add essential oils here if you please, we like the feel and benefits of Argan Oil.)
- Stack your face pads in the jar. Pour the mixture over them. Let sit for an hour or until the pads have absorbed all of the mixture.
Not only are these pads perfect for removing your make up, but they also have other great benefits. Witch hazel helps tighten pores and can reduce inflammation. With this DIY recipe, you are naturally refreshing and gently removing toxins from your skin for the next day ahead!
