Where can I find the expiration date on witch hazel astringents and toners?

All of our witch hazel astringents and toners, except our medicated options, DO NOT have expiration dates. Our witch hazel products are all natural and have a natural preservative (grapefruit seed extract) that does not expire.

Do you offer your products in sample sizes?

Our samples are not for resale.

Why is my packaging different?

Our company is over 100 years old. We changed our packaging to pay tribute to the original packaging.

Where can I find Thayers products?

We are located in most health food stores.

What is the difference between astringents and toners?

Our witch hazel astringents have alcohol derived from corn and our witch hazel toners are all alcohol free.

They’re naturally occurring substances found in the bark or skin of some plants. Tannins have mild antioxidant properties, which can help clean, clear, and add a nice glow to your skin.

No, this is completely normal and happens naturally as the product sits on a shelf and is exposed to natural and artificial light.

Our Glycerin is derived from palm or coconut. We are soy free.

Yes, our Unscented Witch Hazel toner is recommended for babies and children.

Is witch hazel safe for animals?

Yes, it’s safe for external use only.

Our Lemon Witch Hazel Astringent is recommended for oily skin with acne. The lemongrass helps aid the healing process.

Is vitamin E in lip balm derived from soy?

No, and there are no soy allergens in the lip balm.
