Witch Hazel Natural Complex Series: Vitamin C Serum Benefits

You already know that eating foods high in Vitamin C like citrus fruits and dark leafy greens can help nourish your skin from the inside out. However, did you know that including it as part of your daily skincare routine feeds your skin in the opposite direction, from the outside in?

It’s true! Vitamin C contains powerful antioxidants that can help make your skin look brighter, firmer, and maintain a healthy, youthful complexion. In addition, it also helps fight free radicals, which can cause signs of aging. What’s not to love about any of those things?

Improve Your Complexion and Get Glowing Skin with Vitamin C

So, how do you get all the benefits of adding Vitamin C to your skincare routine? Start by choosing a product that contains the right ingredients. While Vitamin C alone won’t always do the trick, you can pair it with other healthy options to create the ideal concoction for your daily skincare routine.

For example, there’s witch hazel. As a natural botanical ingredient, it helps tighten pores and reduce inflammation for healthier-looking skin. Witch hazel is also an important antioxidant, which can help reduce oil production and minimize blemishes. Witch hazel is also good for dry skin when paired with other nourishing ingredients, such as aloe vera and jojoba oil.

As you can tell, the dynamic duo of Vitamin C and witch hazel are a winning combination when it comes to perfecting your daily skincare routine.

Vitamin C Serum DIY Recipe for Healthier Skin

Now, here comes the best part. This easy-to-make at-home serum is simple to whip up and great for adding Vitamin C to your daily skincare routine.

It also includes Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil, and Aloe Vera, making it even more powerful than just using a Vitamin C product alone. For good measure, we’ve also added one of our favorite witch hazel toner varieties, which features a light floral scent.

While each of these items has its own benefits, combining them ensures you get all the best effects. Plus, witch hazel has long been known to reduce inflammation, and adding it to the serum mixture is certainly a bonus boost for your complexion.

Simply use this recipe to create a batch and start using it as part of your daily skincare routine. We just know you’re going to love what you see!
